Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is my favorite hard-ticketed event at Walt Disney World. I’ve been waiting for them to announce 2018 Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party dates, because it’s my must-do party every year. Also my favorite things about the party are back – like Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade and the Sanderson Sisters with the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular! I’m not sad about it, because Halloween is my favorite holiday. However, it’s going to be hot. I also noticed there is no November 1st party which is a little unusual.

What to Expect at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
According to the Disney Parks Blog, returning favorites include the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade (the best!) and Happy HalloWishes fireworks. And of course, trick-or-treating! I hope they include a Moana meet and greet this year, because Moana is so hard to meet at Disney World.

The Disney Parks Blog announced that The Mad Tea Party will take you for a colorful ride as new lighting and effects give a new spin on the night. Depending on the color of your costume, you could transform under the new dancing lights.
On Pirates of the Caribbean, new pirates invade the experience, interacting with sailing guests who will join the search for “Gunpowder Pete.”
On Space Mountain, explorers will hurtle through deep space as a new soundtrack and special effects transform the adventure. I’m so excited for a new soundtrack! I remember Hyperspace Mountain in Disneyland, and the Star Wars music was out of this galaxy!
Also new this year, Storybook Circus welcomes the Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jam, a dance party featuring some of your favorite Disney Junior Characters, including Doc McStuffins!
