About Tania Lamb
Hi friends! I’m Tania Lamb, sometimes my friends call me Lola as an affectionate term. As an ex-CPS worker, I didn’t use my real name when I first joined Facebook. Then when I joined Twitter and other social media, I used @LolaLambchops as my handle, because the name meant something to me. You can read about why I named this site Lola Lambchops.
Northern Virginia is where I grew up and spent most of my life. However, I moved to Orlando, FL with my husband and 5 daughters, about two years ago for a new adventure, and because I really love warm weather and theme parks. Both of my parents are Bolivian, but I was born in the United States. I am fluent in Spanish and come with an American accent. I’ve lived in Ecuador and Russia, so travel is a passion of mine.
I love learning about different people and cultures. When I travel, it’s with my crew (aka my family), my parents, solo trips, just my husband, and with girlfriends. I’m that friend who is pretty much up for anything, except bungee jumping and sky diving. But I’ll hold your purse for you.

Some of my most popular posts on Lola Lambchops are my travel posts like traveling to Disney World with toddlers or the best Disney hotels for large families. You can find me traveling with my entire family, solo, with girlfriends, or with my husband. In 2019 I was a Sweetest Families Ambassadors for Hersheypark.
As a 2014, 2015, and 2018 Walt Disney World panelist on the Disney Parks Moms Panel I have answered over 1,300 vacation-planning questions for guests in English and Spanish. I was also selected to be a Role Mother for the Another Mother Runner community for 2016, and I have been published on POPSUGAR! You can check out my posts for them about Walt Disney World Resort here and here. I’m often asked for quotes for travel and Disney advice for different publications like Parents Magazine.
Entertainment Writer
In 2017 I was invited to be part of the Be Our Guest Press Junket by Walt Disney Studios to help promote Beauty and the Beast. I also worked on the junkets for Cars 3, Disney Pixar’s Coco, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Avengers: Infinity War, and Dog Days.
I have also been invited as media and covered events for Star Wars Celebration and D23 Expo.
One thing I’m passionate about is having family-friendly movies and TV shows available for kids and families. When I write movie reviews I try to provide as much information as possible for parents to make their own decisions about whether it is appropriate for their children and families. I include how much profanity, violence, and sexual content is found in films, including (but not limited to) Disney films. You can often find my kid-friendly movie reviews from a mom’s point of view. I am also a Tomatometer-approved Rotten Tomatoes Critic.
Speaker
In 2018 I was invited in to speak at BYU Women’s Conference in about teaching children spiritual integrity and spoke at Flock Presents in Orlando, FL about social media in January 2019.
Family
My husband and I have 5 beautiful daughters that have grown up too quickly. What once started as sports every Saturday and family costumes has not turned into being parents of adults and teenagers.

But we still love to travel together.
We also adopted our rescue puppy, Tucker, Christmas of 2015. Because when you’re done potty training humans, you might as well start potty training dogs, too. He’s a perfect fit, keeps us on our toes, is just as sassy as the girls, and provides male companionship for my husband.

I like to keep it real but remember to be grateful. I talk about travel (with and without a large family), family entertainment, running (I’ve run 13 half marathons and one marathon), Disney and Universal Studios, my Marvel love, having fun, making memories, and yes, general tomfoolery. Life is meant for laughing a lot and finding joy in every day.
