A new Ariel Meet and Greet has arrived at Disney World in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! You can now meet Ariel from the live-action The Little Mermaid at Walt Disney Presents by Toy Story Land. Live-Action Ariel Meet and Greet at Disney’s Hollywood Studios 2023
Where can you meet Ariel from Disney’s live-action The Little Mermaid? You can meet Ariel from 9 am – 5 pm daily inside Walt Disney Presents at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Head to the back where the theater is and you’ll see the line forming outside the room or if you’re lucky you’ll get in the room.
I visited on the first day of the meet and greet which was May 26, 2023, and there was a good-sized line down the hallway. The sign by the door said it was a 60-minute wait, but we ended up waiting about 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Once inside the doorway you do get to see some artwork from the film and then the line wraps around a couple more times.
Then you wait until you get to the final room to see Ariel and some look-alike props from the film. It’s a very cute set up.
Do You Get to Meet the Actress Who Plays Ariel at the Meet and Greet?
No, you do not get to meet Halle Bailey at the Ariel meet and greet. You meet Ariel – the character with legs – at Hollywood Studios. Some guest were confused in line, which I can understand with the wording, since it said “Meet Ariel from the live-action story.”
To meet Ariel from the animated film at Disney World, you can visit her in the Magic Kingdom park in Ariel’s Grotto. It’s located in Fantasyland, near Prince Eric’s Castle. Ariel has a fin and sits down on a rock for the photo there.
Ariel Meet and Greet Tips
Ariel is lovely and takes time to chat and sign autographs. The backdrop of the Ariel meet and greet at Hollywood Studios is a screen made to look like the ocean. Use Disney’s PhotoPass photographers to take the photo with Ariel, because if you use your phone, sometimes the screen looks pixelated.

Also if you’ll be in line for a long time, bring something to entertain yourself and your children. Have some snacks handy, and there are bathrooms close by just around the corner outside on the way to Toy Story Land.
