2018 Princess Half Marathon Medals Revealed

Calling all my runDisney princesses! The 2018 Princess Half Marathon Medals have finally been revealed! As tradition dictates, it’s our annual girls’ weekend for the runDisney races, and if you’re into princesses, you won’t be disappointed. Take a look at the Princess Half Marathon Weekend medals including the Kids Races, Princess 5K medal, the Princess Enchanted 10K medal, the Princess Half Marathon medal, and the Fairy Tale Challenge medal.

2018 Princess Half Marathon Medals

I’ve only registered for the 2018 Disney Enchanted 10K race, because I enjoy that distance, and I don’t have to stress about training for the half marathon. However, after the 2017 Princess Half Marathon medals were revealed, I ran the Princess Half marathon, too. They were Beauty and the Beast themed! And since I was interviewing Emma Watson soon after, of course I dedicated my costume as a Hermione/Belle mashup. So can the 2018 Princess Half Marathon Medals outdo the 2017 Princess Half Marathon medals? Let’s take a closer look.

2018 Princess 5K Medal

Rapunzel is my favorite Disney Princess, so this is the race I’m regretting not registering for. I just want to caption everything “Best. Day. Ever.” I’m drooling over this 2018 Princess 5K bling.

2018 Princess Enchanted 10K Medal

I’m happy with this Merida medal! I think she’s underrated, and I love some independent Disney princesses! The 2018 Enchanted 10K medal is coming home with me, yay!

2018 Princess Half Marathon Medal

The 2018 Princess Half Marathon Medal is a nod to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I dig how they made the shape of the medal into an apple and even added the Seven Dwarfs in there. However, Snow isn’t my favorite princess. So I’m not sad about missing this race. I’ll be out there cheering with my signs – I’ll try to stay away from my controversial race signs.

2018 Princess Fairy Tale Challenge Medal

And for those Princesses brave enough to attempt the Enchanted 10K on Saturday and then the Princess Half Marathon the next day and you registered for the Fairy Tale Challenge, then this royal medal is for you! This challenge was previously called the Glass Slipper Challenge. I’m not sure if the name change occurred for the Anniversary medal, but here it is nonetheless!

So what’s the consensus? Yay or nah? I do like some of the medals a lot, and I’m glad they are sticking with the Princess theme. I can’t wait for the runDisney 2018 Princess Half Marathon Weekend to arrive!
