Is Falling for Christmas Appropriate for Kids Under 10?

In Falling for Christmas you can expect to see some characters drinking alcohol, storylines about love, and some mature themes. There’s even a nod to the song Lohan sings in Mean Girls. To sum it up, Falling for Christmas is kid friendly for kids over 10 years old.

Falling for Christmas is predictable, but it’s a feel-good story that captures the Christmas spirit, with enough physical humor thrown in for the little ones. It’s a mountain/ski resort twist on Overboard, with a lot of Christmas and less devious. The mountains, snow and winter scenes help bring that winter-wonderland feeling and magic of Christmas.

There are themes of love, loyalty, and discovering where real happiness comes from.

It’s definitely a Hallmark vibe with your cliche snow, mistletoe, blue-collared guy, cabin in the woods, etc. Falling for Christmas is not going to win any awards, but it does give you that holiday fix.
