Enola Holmes 2 Age Rating

Is Enola Holmes 2 Appropriate for Kids Under 13?

In Enola Holmes 2 you can expect to see death,  some bloody images, violent scenes, smoking, alcohol use, and mild language used by some of the characters. To sum it up, Enola Holmes 2 is kid friendly for tweens and teens.

I would recommend Enola Holmes 2 for ages 12 and up, but you could go younger if kids are used to seeing some movies with some mature tones and violence.

While there are some dangerous situations and characters in peril, Millie Bobby Brown is charming again as Enola Holmes. She’s tough, sassy, and smart.

With more scenes of Enola and Sherlock interacting, the sibling relationship is more developed and the banter is enjoyable. It’s nice to see Sherlock have a bit of a softer side.

Much of the content is like Enola Holmes and this mystery is just as fun to solve as the first one. They include some real life characters like Sarah Chapman from the Matchgirls’ strike. It’s not just a Nancy Drew type story; it’s commentary on the condition and wages of workers not only in the 1800s, but it’s also applicable today.

Enola wants to help people and make a difference, not just play detective. I hope this franchise continues to make more films.
