Many families and guests come to Disney World during the holidays to celebrate, and because usually kids are out of school. Thanksgiving is no exception! Here are some of the best restaurants to have Thanksgiving dinner for all budgets.
Where to Eat Thanksgiving Dinner at Walt Disney World
It’s not super cheap to eat at a Disney World restaurant. And over Thanksgiving, some Disney restaurants can add a holiday increase and discounts are limited. Last year for Thanksgiving, we were not able to use an Annual Pass discount for our meal, but we could use a Disney Vacation Member discount.
Here is a list of Disney restaurants where you can find turkey, mashed potatoes, and all the fixings for a Thanksgiving meal at Walt Disney World. Some of these menu items are only available on Thursday, November 24, 2022.
Liberty Tree Tavern
The restaurant in Disney World where you can get Thanksgiving food all year round is Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom. They always serve Thanksgiving staples and the menu includes Roasted Turkey, Pennsylvania Pot Roast, and Oven-roasted Pork with Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, Herb Stuffing, and House-made Macaroni & Cheese.
The Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake for dessert is divine! If you’re in the parks and want to park all day, this is a great choice for Thanksgiving dinner. Pricing starts at $39 for adults and $21 for children under 10 years old.
Garden Grill
If you’ll be in Epcot, have kids and want to do a character meal, and want some traditional Thanksgiving food, then Garden Grill’s Chip ‘n’ Dale Harvest Feast is a fantastic choice!
They did have turkey on the menu and have recently changed it to barbecue-roasted chicken, but they also have a delicious grilled beef, plus mashed potatoes, vegetables, and spoon bread. Double bonus is that you get to take pictures with Chip n Dale!
The Garden Grill serves lunch and dinner for $55 for adults and $36 for children.
Grand Floridian Cafe
One of the most underrated Disney restaurants is the Grand Floridian Cafe at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The food is delicious, but it’s at a reasonable price point for Disney restaurants. The ambiance inside the restaurant is basic, but we ate here for Thanksgiving in 2021 and had a great time. What’s even better is being able to see the Christmas decor including the Gingerbread House at the Grand Floridian during Thanksgiving and the holidays.
Like many Disney restaurants on property, the Grand Floridian cafe has its normal menu and then had a special Thanksgiving dinner with turkey, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, and cranberry sauce. Entrees here are around $25.
Boma
I worked at Boma at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge last year for breakfast and the menu was the same. However, the dinner buffet does have a few additional offerings with an African twist including carved turkey, turkey gravy, Doro wat, cornbread stuffing, cranberry chutney, and candied fufu.
You can find most of the traditional Boma dinner buffet items, too. Don’t forget Zebra Domes!
