The Hotel Transylvania 3 Blu-ray bonus features include fun activities and tutorials for the kids. One of my kids’ favorites was the Mavis & Drac Make-up tutorial. I let my girls do the makeovers on each other, so they didn’t turn out quite like the video, but they had a blast!

Is Hotel Transylvania 3 kid friendly?

You know I’m a big proponent of family friendly films. I think movies for children should be free of profanity and sexual content. So is Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation kid friendly? Overall, I say yes!

Here’s what it’s about. Join your favorite monster family as they embark on a vacation adventure on a luxury monster cruise ship so Drac can finally take a break from handling everyone else’s vacation at the hotel. It’s smooth sailing for Drac’s Pack as the monsters indulge in all of the shipboard fun the cruise has to offer, from monster volleyball to exotic excursions, and catching up on their moon tans. But they hit rocky waters when Mavis realizes that Drac has fallen for the mysterious captain of the ship, Ericka, who hides a dangerous secret that could sink their plans for a dream vacation.

There is little sexual content in #HotelT3. There are some kisses between characters and some women showing cleavage (animated cleavage).

I did not hear any profanity in Hotel Transylvania 3. There are some jokes about farting and mild suggestive humor.

There is a little violence with references to killing, because (spoiler alert) Ericka wants to kill Drac. That may be hard for some children. Also, there is one scary scene that could be an issue for children sensitive to tense situations.

Overall, I recommend Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation for children 8 and over. My youngest daughter, age 6, did watch it, and enjoyed it. However, she has also seen some Marvel movies.

Grab a copy of Hotel Transylvania 3 on DVD and Blu-ray, available on October 9, and your favorite Hotel Transylvania 3 plush and really make it a sleepover with your favorite friends.
