Moonlight Magic is back for 2025! Moonlight Magic are complimentary events for eligible Disney Vacation Club Members and is one of the funnest member perks. Here are the Moonlight Magic dates and registrations dates for 2025. Plus tips on how to register to attend one of these special events exclusively for Disney Vacation Club members.
2025 Moonlight Magic Dates
Moonlight Magic in 2025 is at Disney California Adventure, Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Typhoon Lagoon.
During a Moonlight Magic event, eligible DVC Members can visit a select theme park for a special celebration and exclusive after hours access. There’s extra magic, free snacks and food, and special entertainment and rare character photo ops after parks have closed.
Here are the 2025 Moonlight Magic Dates:
- Disney California Adventure Park: February 3, 2025
- EPCOT: January 25, 2024 and March 1, 2024
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: January 26, 2025 and September 1, 2025
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park: April 30, 2025 and July 17, 2025
- Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park: May 20, 2025, June 9, 2025, and August 11, 2025
2025 Moonlight Magic Registration Dates
Registration for Moonlight Magic usually begins at 11:00 a.m. EST on the day of registration. You register through a virtual queue. However you want to enter the virtual queue for Moonlight Magic registration BEFORE 11 AM EST.
Disney Vacation Club has divided this year’s Moonlight Magic event into seasons -winter, spring, and summer.

How to Register for Moonlight Magic in 2025 and Tips
Here’s how you can register for Moonlight Magic plus the best Moonlight Magic registration tips.
For each Moonlight Magic event, registration will open early for eligible members staying at a Disney Vacation Club Resort during an event date.
When your registration date opens, visit the Disney Vacation Club website and select “RSVP online” BEFORE 11:00 a.m. ET.
You will be taken to a virtual waiting room that will open AT 11 AM ET.
Again, click on RSVP before 11:00 AM ET. Do not refresh your screen. Once 11 AM hits, you’ll be assigned a number in the waiting room, almost like a lottery. They scramble all the numbers and it’s not a first come, first served situation.
I usually get on about 15 minutes ahead of time to allow room for errors.
You’ll be able to see what your number is and the progress you’re making. Once your number goes down to 0, then you’ll be redirected to the registration form. Do not hit refresh during the process at all.
You’ll have 5 minutes to get through each screen, but have your memberships number ready. Try to move through the information as quickly as possible. Then you’ll get a confirmation email if you’re successfully registered.
I do have multiple tabs open on my laptop and on my phone to see which number is better once 11 a.m. hits, just like for runDisney race registration. I know people who use different browsers and devices. Does it help? In theory, yes. But it also can stress people out.
However, the more options you have, the better your chances of getting into Moonlight Magic events.
How Many Guests can Register Per Membership for Moonlight Magic?
You can register up to 5 guests total per Moonlight Magic reservation or up to the number of Guests on your Resort reservation.
Registration is required and limited and walk-ins will not be permitted.
Valid Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card and photo ID required at check-in. The Member who registers must be in attendance and be the person who checks in their full party.
Do Moonlight Magic Events Sell Out?
Yes, after all the spots are reserved, you’ll receive a note at the bottom of your screen notifying you the event has sold out.
In my experience, some events have sold out in around 15 minutes, others 30 minutes, and others 45 minutes.
For the EPCOT Moonlight Magic in 2024 in January, the event had sold out by 11:15 a.m.
Are You Limited to the Number of Moonlight Magic Events You Can Attend?
In order to allow as many Members as possible to enjoy Moonlight Magic, only one event date for each participating park will be available per Membership per calendar year.
What are the Hours for Moonlight Magic?
Moonlight Magic hours are usually from 10 PM to 1 AM at EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. The hours at Animal Kingdom are earlier since the park closes earlier. You can enter the park 3 hours before the event starts. You do not need to make a park reservation or need a park ticket to enter. You will need your Moonlight Magic Confirmation.
