The Disney Parks Moms Panel has gone through some name and logo changes since it launched in 2008. Now more exciting changes have come as the Disney Parks Moms Panel is now planDisney! As a member of the 2014 Disney Parks Moms Panel class, I’m thrilled for these changes to better serve guests! What does this mean for the Disney Moms Panel Application process?
Disney Parks Moms Panel Changes Name to planDisney
Welcome to the planDisney panel! According to the website, planDisney is the official digital resource for helpful tips, heartfelt advice, and unique insights from real Guests who have mastered the art of planning Disney vacations. If you have questions, they’ve got answers.
As a former panelist, I loved sharing my personal experiences about vacations with my own family. We made mistakes along the way that hopefully someone could learn from. And not everybody wants the same vacation, so with different opinions and experiences, you’re bound to find a panelist that matches your style. It’s like asking a friend for advice.
Now more than ever, with so many changes, I also have questions and often visit planDisney (formerly DPMP) for answers. That reservation system? What’s that about?
Plus it’s always nice to get a different perspective. As much as I love snacks and feel like I may have tried them all, I know I haven’t and want suggestions on new ones to try like Secret Disney Nachos at Pecos Bill back in the day.
Panelists are not Cast Members, they’re real Guests. And they’ll provide a personal response to you about Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, and Disney Vacation Club.
I personally love the new name! It’s more inclusive of panelists and guests. Yes, I happen to be a mom, but y’all know how much I love my girlfriend trips, too! You don’t have to go with kids to feel the magic. And you don’t have to have children to give fantastic Disney-planning advice.
And what about that 2020 planDisney panel search? Unfortunately there will be no 2020 planDisney panelist search. “Since 2020 is unlike any year we’ve ever experienced, we are extending some of our current panelists for another year to provide stability to the program in an unstable time. As a result, we will not be seeking new panelists this fall.”
So check out planDisney for all your Disney vacation-planning needs! Yes, I may miss the Disney crowds, but the safety precautions are top-notch right now. I visited during an Annual Passholder preview after Walt Disney World reopened and felt like Disney was doing all they could to keep guests safe during this time. And as things continue to change, I’ll look to my friends at planDisney to help me out!
