Love, Romance, and Revenge in The Mighty Ones Season 2

When interviewing Alex Cazares and Josh Brenner, voices of Berry and Twig, in The Mighty Ones, I asked what fans could expect in Season 2. Alex replied, “Love! Romance! Revenge!” So hold on to your hats, Season 2 of The Mighty Ones is full of surprises.

Berry and Twig The Mighty Ones

If you haven’t yet seen The Mighty Ones on Hulu, you’re missing out on some serious ridiculousness. In every backyard exists a secret world filled with tiny creatures, and The Mighty Ones follows the hilarious misadventures of the smallest of them: a twig, a pebble, a leaf and a strawberry. The Mighty Ones is one of those shows you can watch with the whole family. There’s goofy and silly for the kids, and some side quips for the adults, too.

Is The Mighty Ones kid friendly? Yes, for the most part. Some humor can be a little gross and a little mature with some name-calling, but for the most part it’s tame.

The Mighty Ones Season 2

In season 2, the misadventures of The Mighty Ones continue as they explore their backyard wonderland and learn more about the strange creatures they share it with. A flood forces the group to live as pirates searching for dry land, Rocksy dabbles in a home makeover, and Very Berry makes a new feathery “friend” who may or may not see her as food.

The quirkiness of it all is adorable. The cast is so great together, and there’s nothing Alex Cazares can’t do. Just ask costar Josh Brenner, he’s one of her biggest fans.

Josh said to expect more hijinks this season! To see more of the interview, watch below.  Season 2 of The Mighty Ones from DreamWorks Animation premieres on Peacock and Hulu on July 1, 2021.
