Language

There is a lot of profanity in The Good Nurse including many uses of f*ck, sh*t, hell, and uses of Deity like “g-d” and “Jesus.”

Mature Content

You can see a woman’s breast (non-sexual) for a period of time.

The mature themes about a serial killer inside a hospital is suspenseful and may be too much for some tweens and teens. The deaths themselves are not particularly gory, but are disturbing, as the killer preys on patients.

The Good Nurse Age Rating

Is The Good Nurse Appropriate for Kids Under 17?

In The Good Nurse you can expect to hear profanity used by some of the characters, deaths of characters, and mature conversations/topics about murders, financial hardships, and trust. To sum it up, The Good Nurse is not kid friendly, mainly due to mature content.

While Chastain and Redmayne deliver excellent performances, the subject matter may not be interesting to kids, tweens and even teens. It’s not sensational, flashy, or particularly gruesome. What The Good Nurse does do well is build up slowly to a good psychological thriller with talented leads.
