Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit Scavenger Hunt Details and Prizes

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit is a scavenger hunt in EPCOT where you purchase a map and then try to locate Disney character pumpkins around the world. Once you complete the scavenger hunt, you can choose between different prizes for Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, which is a selection of different pumpkin sipper cups.

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit Scavenger Hunt 2023

Adding to the other EPCOT Scavenger Hunts for kids (and adults), Disney World now has a Halloween themed one -Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit. This scavenger hunt first started in Disneyland at Downtown Disney.

I like Pluto’s Pumpkin Scavenger Hunt, because it’s a little different than the others as most of the locations are in the old Future World versus World Showcase, like Remy’s Hide and Squeak Scavenger Hunt

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit lasts through October 31st or until supplies last.

Here’s all you need to know about Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit Scavenger Hunt in EPCOT including the prizes, price, and whether it’s worth it!

And once you get started and need a little help and hints, you can find all the Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit Scavenger Hunt answers here.

2023 Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit Scavenger Hunt Prizes

What are the 2023 Pluto’s Pumpkin Scavenger Hunt prizes? You’ll receive your choice of a small Disney pumpkin character sipper with Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, or Stitch on it. They are really cute, but it’s not going to hold a lot of liquid.

One of the cutest details are the ears on the side match the Disney character. I probably would have chosen Stitch, but he had no eyes.

My daughter chose the Pluto pumpkin sipper even though he had no eyes either. Less creepy? Maybe.

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit Prize Tip: When you purchase your map, you can choose your prize without completing the scavenger hunt first. I usually just pick our my prize when I buy my map, so I don’t have to go back. They’ll just mark your map with a “Complete” stamp so they know you already chose your prize.

You can redeem your Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit prize at Creations Shop, Disney Traders, and World Traveler.

How to Play Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit

So now that you have purchased your map, you want to go hunt for Pluto’s Disney Pumpkins in EPCOT! This is an easier scavenger hunt than Remy’s Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt that runs at the same time during EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival.

The Pluto’s Pumpkin Stickers match exactly what the pumpkins look like that you’re trying to locate, so that’s a bonus, too.

The front of the map does act like a guide map and tells you what locations each pumpkin is in. Some of this year’s pumpkins are tricky and require you to look inside locations.

Once you’ve matched all the correct pumpkin stickers to their corresponding locations, success!

Is Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit Worth It?

I think Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit is the best Epcot Scavenger Hunt for younger children and toddlers at Disney World. The stickers match the pumpkins, there’s less walking involved, and for the most part the pumpkins are easy to find as long as you look at the locations on the map.

It’s also a great activity for little ones if they aren’t tall enough for a ride so they have something to do while they wait for Child Swap.

The prizes are a little chintzy, but they’re adorable. So with a discount, what’s an extra $8 added on to your Disney vacation? It’s all about the memories.

The scavenger hunt is fun, will probably take you about an hour to complete if you’re only focused on finding pumpkins, but it’s a great addition to your EPCOT day, especially if you’re visiting for Halloween fun.
