A new theme park at Universal Orlando us huge news, and seeing all the artist renderings and plans has made this park opening even more epic.

Mark Woodbury says, “We live by the ethos that the next thing we do is going to be better than the last thing we did.” It almost doubles the size of Universal Orlando Resort.

How Many New Lands Will There Be at Universal Epic Universe?

Universal Epic Universe is comprised of 5 incredibly themed worlds and lands:

  • Celestial Park
  • How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk
  • Dark Universe

  • Super Nintendo World

Entrance to Epic Universe 2025

Celestial Park will be the first world guests enter. You enter through a portal and on the other side are in a world you’ve never dreamed of! They wanted to put the park back into theme park with water features and beautiful gardens. It will also house 3 new attractions – Constellation Carousel (a cosmos-inspired carousel), Astronomica (dancing fountains), and Starfall Racers (a dual-launch roller coaster where you race through the sky!).

Celestial Park is the gateway to the other lands.

How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk is the world’s first dragon/viking utopia. Fans of the “How to Train Your Dragon” franchise can soar with dragons and have a viking adventure! You and your family can finally fly with dragons.

Take part in wild boat battles, feast like a Viking and more.

Dark Universe is for fans of Universal’s classic monsters and Halloween Horror Nights. It’s a world where Universal’s monsters are reimagined in an ominous and chilling experience.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic will be a land where guests get to experience moments from 1920s Paris from the Fantastic Beasts’ films and the British Ministry of Magic from the Harry Potter series. There will be an epic attraction that they haven’t announced yet, because it’s just too good they want it to be a surprise.

With the Ministry of Magic, you now have a trilogy of Harry Potter storytelling with Hogsmeade in Islands of Adventure and Diagon Alley in Universal Studios Orlando.

Super Nintendo World will delight guests who are fans of Nintendo’s Super Mario Bros and get a chance to step into that video game world! You can challenge Bowser on the Mario Kart ride and venture through Donkey Kong Country. I can’t wait to hang with Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach!

Universal also announced a new hotel – Universal Helios Grand Hotel with 500 rooms integrated into the theme park. Talk about location!

Well done on the announcements, Universal Orlando! In the meantime, don’t forget to try all the different versions of Butterbeer at Universal Orlando.
