Disney has announced that Disney World Annual Passes will be on sale again starting April 20, 2023! They had shut down the sales of Annual Passes for non-Florida residents for almost a year and a half.
The news has many Disney fans rejoicing as ticket prices rise.
2023 Disney World Annual Pass Frequently Asked Questions
According to Disney, new sales of the Disney Incredi-Pass, Disney Sorcerer Pass and Disney Pirate Pass will resume and can be purchased online beginning on April 20! However, the quantity of passes will be limited and passes, or a pass type, may become unavailable for purchase at any time.
This is what happened during the return of sales of the Disneyland Annual Passes. Some cheaper passes sold out sooner.
So, if you’re thinking about buying an Annual Pass, now’s probably the time to do it.
What time do Disney World Annual Passes Go On Sale?
You can purchase your Disney World Annual Passes on April 20, 2023 at 6 AM ET. You will enter a queue and when it’s your turn, you’ll be directed to the website.
There have been some reports of issues with the checkout process, so hold on tight, Disney fans. It’s gonna be a bumpy ride in the queue for some.
How Much do Disney World Annual Passes Cost?
There was an increase in price and new prices include:
- Incredi-Pass: $1399 (was $1299) + tax
- Sorcerer Pass: $969 (was $899) + tax
- Pirate Pass: $749 (was $699) + tax
- Pixie Dust Pass: $399 (no change) + tax
The only Annual Pass that non-Florida residents can purchase is the Incredi-Pass if they are not Disney Vacation Club Members.
Can Disney World Annual Passholders Upgrade Their Annual Passes?
Yes, existing Annual Passholders will be able to renew their pass outside of their renewal window.
Disney Vacation Club Member Annual Passes
Eligible Disney Vacation Club Members had the opportunity to purchase the DVC Disney Sorcerer Pass online beginning April 13, 2023 as part of Membership Magic benefits. Other benefits, of course, include Moonlight Magic.
Many reported that the process was frustrating, because, well, Disney IT.
Disney World Annual Passholder Blockout Dates
These are the 2023 Blockout Dates for Disney World Annual Passes (and dates through New Years).
The Disney World Incredi-Pass has no blockout dates.
The Sorcerer Pass (only Florida residents and Disney Vacation Club members can purchase) blockout dates:

The Pirate Pass has blockout dates around major holidays like Spring Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and Presidents Day.

The Pixie Dust Pass (only for Florida Residents) is blocked out on all weekends and holidays, including weeks around Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and Spring Break.
Other Walt Disney World Annual Passholder Benefits
Disney also announced that Passholders now receive access to select Disney PhotoPass benefits (age restrictions apply) and, beginning April 18, Annual Passholders can visit the theme parks after 2 p.m. without needing a park reservation, except on Saturdays and Sundays at Magic Kingdom Park. Pass blockout dates continue to apply.
So Annual Passholders will still need to make park reservations in the mornings, but we’ll take it!
All Disney World Annual Passholders also receive free standard parking at the theme parks.
