I chatted with Peter Ramsey, Academy Award winning Director of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and talked about one of his failures – the film Rise of the Guardians. In this interview we discuss how to bounce back and move on from what others may perceive as a flop.

One of the most popular stories of failure is when Michael Jordan was cut from his basketball team. Sometimes people leave out the detail about how he was not on Varsity as a freshman, and that was his failure.
Failure can mean different things to different people. In Peter Ramsey’s case, his failure was Rise of the Guardians. Although I personally loved that film and many others did, too, it wasn’t a success in box office numbers.
