I still wonder how I became a sports mom. But here I am, every weekend for softball, soccer, volleyball, basketball, or dance. I’ve learned to love it, because of the friendships my daughters make with their teammates, and because I enjoy watching them grow as people and athletes. I designed Custom Ink Shirts for my daughter’s softball team, and I was so impressed with the quality and experience. If you need custom designed anything for your team, group, or class, then Custom Ink is the way to go.

Custom Ink Shirts
Designing on CustomInk.com was a very easy experience. I appreciate easy as a busy sports mom of 5. I asked the team what kind of personalized items they wanted, and the selection at Custom Ink was incredible. When I’ve tried to make shirts on different sites, usually it’s a few different types shirts, and that’s it. But even just the selection of Custom Ink shirts was great – they had women’s and kids’ sizes.
First, choose the item you want. The girls chose Custom Ink t-shirts, because with so many practices, you can’t have enough t-shirts. My daughter decided on a Bella v-neck shirt for a little more feminine style.
When you first arrive at the site, you have the option of a template or you can start from scratch.
Next, upload your logo. Custom Ink also has a variety of art, mascots, emojis, and sports-related designs ready for you to use. So if you want to mix and match, go ahead! I knew that we wanted out team’s logo on the front, so I uploaded the design and you can move it around, make it bigger or smaller, etc.
Custom Ink has over 400 fonts to choose from! You get to be the designer. And if you’re not up to the challenge, Custom Ink has their own designers to help you out. When I was messing around with designs, I received an email from a Custom Ink Designer who designed her own version of my shirt. I used some of her inspiration with mine to design the back of the shirt.
These are the words to our team’s cheer! You can change text for every line, change the size, move it, etc. It’s all very self-explanatory. Take a listen to the team’s cheer. You may want to turn the volume down 😉
Run HARD, Hit HARD, Throw HARD, Field HARD, Work HARD, Play hard, Play hard, Play HARD, Inferno!
Custom Ink Shirts Quality
When I received the Custom Ink Shirts, I was so impressed! They were soft, and the lettering was not vinyl. The logo was imprinted in the shirt. These are shirts that will last through washes. Because how many times have I washed a shirt with vinyl and the lettering peels off? Grrrr. The girls were so excited to receive their Custom Ink shirts!
Custom Ink Shirt Sizing
My daughter is wearing a Women’s XS. She probably could have gone with a child’s large, but I wanted room for her to grow into it. The colors are bright and just what we had ordered!
Custom Ink Products
Custom Ink is more than t-shirts. Check out their full product catalog! They have long-sleeved shirts, hoodies, tank tops, water bottles, bags, magnets, and even your favorite clothing brands like Under Armour, Nike, and North Face.
I had to laugh, because when we went to cheer our high school’s volleyball championship, I noticed the Custom Ink tag on the rally towels. And boy did we rally…state champs!
And who says all the cool gear has to be for the players? As a Sports Mom, I want to support the team, too! Yes, I may one of those who yell from the sidelines and the bleachers, but I can also be the spirit wear silent type when I need to be.
Custom Ink also has products for every price points. The more colors you use, the higher the price, but I really like that you can get an estimate of what the cost will be before you start designing. Custom Ink products also make great gifts for coaches. You don’t have to play sports, these are great for teachers, Girl Scout troops, marching band, or any group you want to support!
Not only is it fun to have matching shirts, but this is a great way to remember the teams and people you played with. In the world of youth sports, it’s hard to keep the same teams forever. Some players move on, age out, or go to a different team. But these girls will always remember the sweat, hard work, and stained pants from all the hits, plays, strikes, and slides with their team. Go Inferno!
Have fun designing your team’s memories!
