Daisy Jones & The Six Parents Guide

Based on the New York Times best-selling novel, Daisy Jones & the Six follows the story of a 1970s band fronted by two feuding yet charismatic lead singers, Daisy Jones (Riley Keough) and Billy Dunne (Sam Claflin). Set to the soundtrack of original music, this is the story of how this iconic band imploded at the height of its powers.

In 1977, they were on top of the world. the band had risen from obscurity to fame, and then, after a sold-out show at Chicago’s Soldier Field, they called it quits; now, decades later, the band members agree to reveal the truth.

The trailer teases that “Their music made them famous; their breakup made them legends.”

In Daisy Jones & The Six you can expect a lot of sex, drugs, and rock & roll. Due to mature content, I would not recommend Daisy Jones & The Six for kids under 16 years old.

Teens who have read the book will most likely want to watch the series. Some scenes are definitely inappropriate and is intended for mature audiences. We recommend parents screening the series first if they are uncomfortable with the content to gauge whether it’s appropriate for your teens.
