Attention Please: I was on Set of the Captain Marvel Movie

Seriously, you guys, I was on the set of the Captain Marvel movie! I WAS ON THE SET OF CAPTAIN MARVEL! This is not a drill. I have been keeping this secret since the Avengers Infinity War Event, which was in April. That’s a big secret to hold onto, and it was killing me not to spill everything I heard, saw, and touched.

Thank you, Disney, for hosting me at the Infinity War Event and allowing me to live out dreams that young Tania could only fantasize about.

On set of the Captain Marvel movie. Shhh, it's a secret.

Captain Marvel Movie Set Visit

So the super exciting news is that I was on set for Captain Marvel and can’t wait to share EVERYTHING we did! The bad news is I can’t tell you about it today. We’re still under embargo!!

Here’s what I can tell you. Me and 24 other fine bloggers above visited the set in April of this year. We were there for the Infinity War event, so our Marvel hype was already at level 10. I will say we visited the set before we saw the ending of Avengers: Infinity War, which was probably on purpose, because then we would have been asking all the questions.

I was wearing my fly Coulson Lives shirt on set, and I’ll tell you which celebrity on set commented on it. We asked some questions, met some people, walked around, took pictures, played with some pretty awesome things on set, and more!

New Captain Marvel Trailer

Have you seen the new Captain Marvel movie trailer?? We learn a lot about Captain Marvel!

First, you hear Samuel L. Jackson’s voice say, “Skrulls are the bad guys, and you’re a Kree? A race of noble warriors?” Captain Marvel answers, “Heroes. Noble warrior heroes.”

Take a look!

I was freaking out, because I had been on parts of the set in the trailer! Aaaaah! And then Captain Marvel kicks a Grandma’s butt in the trailer, and I’m cheering, because you know, it’s not really a grandma. I’m not that kind of person, sheesh.

What Captain Marvel Means to My Family

In the Captain Marvel movie, Captain Marvel (aka Carol Danvers) is the first headlining female superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That is a big deal to my family of all girls. And she’s not just a pretty face.

She’s a pilot, a Kree, a noble warrior hero. And it’s about time women were seen as such. I can’t wait for this movie!!

In the trailer, Captain Marvel ends with, “I’m not gonna fight your war. I’m gonna end it.” I believe it.
