I love a classic Dole Whip, but I also love a fancy Dole Whip. Did you know you can get both at The Tropical Hideaway at Disneyland? For me, the best place to get Dole Whips in Disneyland is The Tropical Hideaway, because they also have seating and the line is most often shorter than the Tiki Juice Bar! Maybe it’s because it is a little hideaway and hidden from the main walkway, but now you know! Here are some of the offerings you can find at The Tropical Hideaway.

Best Place for Dole Whips at Disneyland
Where can you get the best Dole Whips in Disneyland? I say The Tropical Hideaway! The Tropical Hideaway is a quick-service dining location in Adventureland (replaced Aladdin’s Oasis) where you can still get your favorite classic Dole Whips plus get some savory snacks, too! I love a good sweet and salty combo.

One of my favorite things about The Tropical Hideaway is that there is seating!! Like many tables and chairs. Sometimes you just want to eat a Dole Whip and rest. You can find some shade, and the ambiance is fun, too. We walked by the Tiki Juice Bar and the line was forever long. Then we walked here, and there was about 5 people ahead of us in line. I don’t know if it’s always like that, but I’ll take it!

Classic Dole Whips
If you want your classic Dole Whip, no worries! They have three different flavors – Pineapple, Orange, and Raspberry. You can get them plain, in a float, and/or mixed together.

I went with a pineapple-orange swirl float just to try something new. I liked the flavor combination, because I’m also a Citrus Swirl girl. It was the best of both worlds.

Fancy Dole Whips
Ok, where are my fellow foodies? Let’s say you’re in the mood to be a little extra and get your fancy Dole Whips, well The Tropical Hideaway has you covered!
Try the Loaded Dole Whip or Twisted Ambush – a loaded orange-pineapple swirl whip, topped with exotic fruit and crystallized hibiscus. You also get coconut, too!
It was delicious and gives you that extra oomph while being simultaneously refreshing. The loaded Dole Whip makes a great snack when you don’t want something too heavy, but need a little something more than a dessert.

If you’re a super foodie, try the Chile-Mango Whip which is Chamoy, Mango, and Chile-Lime seasoning. I was not fancy enough to try that one, but I hear those who like chile seasoning enjoy it.
Food Offerings at The Tropical Hideaway
If you’re a little hangry and need food, you can also get Sweet Lumpia and Baos. The menu offers three different baos – Spiced Vegetable Bao, Lime Chicken Bao, and Bulgogi Beef Bao. You can order them individually or get a trio.
The Sweet Lumpia looks like an egg roll and is filled with cream cheese and pineapple, and dusted with a layer of sugar. It also comes with a Dole pineapple dipping sauce. I tried something similar in Pandora – the World of Avatar in Walt Disney World, and they were a little too sweet for me, so I skipped these this time.
You can also find a Chilled Ramen Shaker, fresh fruit, bags of chips, and other beverages at The Tropical Hideaway. You can find a complete menu on Disneyland’s site.
Between all the food and dessert offerings, the ambiance, the classic and fancy Dole Whips, and the seating, I’m declaring The Tropical Hideaway the best place to get Dole Whips in Disneyland! Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
