Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS World Tour in 2024 is one of the hottest tickets right now. Olivia Rodrigo may have been a Disney Channel star, but that doesn’t mean she’s still Disney-fied. Is Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS Tour for kids? No, not really. She’s grown up and so have her concerts. That doesn’t mean your kids won’t have a good time; just be aware before you take them and spend all that cash. Here’s what parents need to know in this 2024 GUTS Tour Parents Guide.

Olivia Rodrigo GUTS Tour Parents Guide 2024
Parents, Olivia Rodrigo is not Taylor Swift. She’s edgier and yes, perhaps angrier. If your child went to Olivia’s Sour Tour, then expect more of a mature concert experience at the GUTS tour. Kids, tweens, teens, and adults will be attending these concerts, and you can’t control the actions of others around you.
Some kids may be fans of Olivia from her Bizaardvark days or from when she starred in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. But she’s older now and has shed that Disney image.
Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS album has explicit lyrics, and she’s not singing the clean versions at her concerts. Her song lyrics contain language like f*ck, g-ddamn, sh*t, damn, and bi*ch. Not only do they contain profanity, but a lot of her lyrics talk about sex and relationships.
Olivia welcomes concert goers to the f*cking GUTS Tour and has made comments about how she bought cigarettes and beer the because she “f*cking can.” Olivia Rodrigo is 21 years old. She can be a little ragey with her lyrics, and that is why many teens and tweens relate to her.
Keep in mind she does like to use the f-word at her concerts, so parents don’t be surprised when the f-bombs are dropped on a regular basis. Just due to language, the GUTS Tour concert would be rated TV-MA.
Is the GUTS Tour Appropriate for Kids Under 12?
Parents should know Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS tour is not made for kids. It’s not meant to be kid friendly. If you’re worried about what your kids may see or hear at the Olivia Rodrigo concert, then perhaps it’s best to keep your child at home until they get a little older.
You can expect to hear the f-word, lyrics about love and sex, lyrics regarding oral sex, and see some provocative dancing on stage. To sum it up, The GUTS tour is not kid friendly for ages 10 and younger.
However, if those things don’t bother you as a parent or if you feel your child is mature enough to handle it, then go and have a great time. Every child is different and you know your child best. The venues are bigger and louder this year for the GUTS tour, so keep that in mind as well.
Parents, do your research, so you know what to expect. There are plenty of TikTok and Instagram concert videos. If you don’t want your child around that, and you have to sell your tickets, there will be plenty of fans happy to buy them. And if your child is young, there will be more concerts when they’re older.
In St. Louis, they did hand out birth control at Olivia’s Rodrigo concert.
My 11-year-old went, and some things went over her head. But after Olivia “smiled and waved at her,” it was the best night ever.
What are the Age Restrictions for the GUTS Tour?
There is no minimum age for the GUTS World Tour. However, children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult. And guests of all ages must have a valid admission ticket.
GUTS Tour Set List
If you’re concerned about the lyrics of Olivia Rodrigo’s songs, then here is her GUTS Tour set list. Some of the lyrics are mature, explicit, a bit raunchy, and not intended for young kids.
If your kids listen to Spotify, then most of her songs have a clean version. Look up the non-clean Olivia Rodrigo lyrics if you want to get a better idea what will be sung at the concert.
She is a talented songwriter and performer, but don’t expect kid-friendly lyrics.
