For those expecting Firefly Lane, the book, to be just like Firefly Lane, the series on Netflix, then you’ll be disappointed. The big question people are asking is who dies in Firefly Lane? Does Tully die in the Netflix Series? Below are Firefly Lane spoilers, so a fair warning.

Firefly Lane Netflix: Who Dies?
The new Netflix series Firefly Lane is based on a novel of the same name by Kristin Hannah. This Firefly Lane Parents Guide will tell you what ages should watch the series.
The novel Firefly Lane shows Kate and Tully’s friendship when they first met, through college, and also while working as journalists. However, it doesn’t flashback like the series does.
In the book, Kate and Johnny do not file for divorce, and Max doesn’t even exist in the novel.
When you see Kate attending a funeral in Netflix’s Firefly Lane, many assume it’s Tully’s funeral, especially after the trauma of losing a baby. But later on, we see it wasn’t and that in fact it was Kate’s Dad’s funeral.
We get a cliffhanger at the end of the series when Kate tells Tully what she did was unforgivable and wants nothing to do with her. It even seems like Marah is on her mom’s side. However, what did Tully do that was so unforgiveable?
That’s the big question, but in the book, Tully dies, so that question remains unanswered until Season 2!
