It’s holiday time, and we find any excuse to celebrate in our house! Thankfully, Invisalign® treatment doesn’t cramp my daughter’s holiday style. She’s still able to eat her favorite treats, participate in winter activities, incorporate traditions, and do it all while transforming her smile without compromise. But the real question is – does Invisalign treatment work? Let me show you.
Celebrating Holidays With Invisalign Treatment
No matter what holiday you celebrate, I can usually find one thing in common – food! Food and holidays seem to go in hand. My daughter can eat the sticky, gooey treats she loves like candy canes, cookies, and caramel. One of her favorite holiday traditions is baking cookies with her grandmother to give away at Christmas every year. And what would baking be without sampling the goods?
Just pop out the Invisalign aligners, place them in their case, and munch on all the ho-ho-holiday goodies!

We also love to visit a winter destination when school’s out and try things like ice skating, skiing, and snow tubing. And don’t forget those snowball fights on snow days from school! I’ve talked about why we love Invisalign aligners for sports, and the same principles apply here.
Hopefully, accidents never occur, but if they do, it gives me comfort as a parent that I worry less about injuries from broken wires or brackets. A few weeks ago, my older daughter was playing softball, and there was a collision on the base path between two players. One of them had braces and her mouth started bleeding a lot from the brackets cutting her cheeks and lip. She had to come off the field.

Does Invisalign Treatment Work?
Does the Invisalign treatment work? That’s the million dollar question. Well, I’m a successful case. It worked for me, and my daughter wanted to try it. Here’s her progress so far in about 6 months of treatment.

Day 1 of Invisalign Treatment
The picture above was her first day of Invisalign treatment in May 2019. As you can see her bottom teeth are crowded and crooked. Her front teeth are forward and her alignment is off. She has a small mouth and the teeth weren’t fitting correctly.
After 6 months of wearing her Invisalign aligners, this is her smile! Her progress is amazing! Take the smile assessment to see if your child is a good candidate.

When thinking about gifts this holiday season, consider Invisalign treatment for your tween or teen. It really has helped with my daughter’s confidence since starting middle school. She’s happy that this year, all the tinsel is on the tree and not on her teeth.
