My Night with the Avengers | Avengers Infinity War Premiere Pictures

To say walking the purple carpet at the Avengers: Infinity War Premiere is a dream come true is an understatement. As a Marvel fan, I get so invested in characters and stories, and then to just casually walk behind Scarlett Johansson or be at the same party as Tom Hiddleston and Chris Hemsworth is bonkers. I’ll tell you all about my night with the Avengers and load you up with Avengers Infinity War Premiere Pictures!

Avengers Infinity War Premiere

Let me tell you about my night with the Avengers! (I love that sentence.) So after our day of events, we had about an hour to get ready for the red carpet, which turned out to be purple! After a whirlwind, we arrived to the entrance to the carpet and began walking down (slowly). I wanted to soak it all in. The talent (aka celebrities and executives) go down one carpet and all other guests go down another. You can get a glimpse, but that’s where their interviews and pictures take place.

They have a couple of photo ops with backdrops and signs, but it gets crowded and you have to be fast. There were around 4,000 people to come through the carpet. I had major trouble finding something I wanted to wear, but in the end I was happy with my jumpsuit which seems to be my outfit of choice. I was trying to channel Black Widow.

Avengers: Infinity War Red Carpet

As you walked further down the carpet, there were costumes and props lined up against the wall, which was pretty cool to see.

Then as you got to the end of the carpet, the guests split into 3 different theaters. We were lucky enough to be in the Dolby where most everyone in Avengers: Infinity War was on stage together before the screening of the movie! Before I got to walk up the “Oscars Stairs,” I saw one of my most favorite actors ever – Clark Gregg! He plays Agent Coulson in Agents of SHIELD. I’m usually timid with celebrities when they’re just walking around, but I saw his wife taking a picture with someone, so I mustered the courage to ask him for a picture.

He was super nice, and I’m laughing at the blurry picture, because I was telling him a story while trying to take the picture. I wore a Coulson Lives shirt earlier that day.

Then double magic happened when I saw Henry Simmons who plays Mack on Agents of SHIELD. He was incredibly gracious and had been chatting with my friend, Jana, earlier. Dem Agents tho.

Avengers Infinity War Screening

I got especially lucky to be front row center to watch Avengers: Infinity War. The seats are assigned on our credentials. I was right in front of the stairs leading to the stage, so I had a perfect view. See those heads in the front? That was me!

It was such a magical moment to be so close to all these stars and actors who I have admired for so long. These are the people who play my favorite characters. These are the superheroes that have inspired my daughters, made me laugh, cry, and jump from my seat in excitement. I just stared with wide eyes and goosebumps on my arms. At that moment, I wasn’t working; I was simply a Marvel fangirl.

Then as the actors left the stage right in front of me, because they had to come down the stairs, I tuned into Joy from Inside Out. Remember that scene where she sees Rainbow Unicorn? Well that was me. I yell, “Hi Tom Hiddleston!” He turns and looks at me, and says, “Hello.”  I melt.

Then Tom Holland and Chris Pratt come down the stairs and are talking with each other. I hear Tom Holland tell Chris Pratt that he’ll see him later. I’m not sure what possessed me to say, “Oh, are you guys going to have a dance off later, because that would be really cool.” They both turn to look at me like I had two heads, and say, “Yeah, that’s totally what we’re going to do.” What? It could happen. Don’t they know their characters? I just started laughing at myself.

Then the lights went out, and it was time for the movie to start! And what a doozy. Here’s my ‘Is Avengers: Infinity War kid friendly‘ post, if you want to see if Infinity War is family friendly. No spoilers!

Gratuitous Avengers Infinity War Premiere Pictures

I know you’re all here for the good looking people! And man was everyone beautiful – men and women alike. There were so many Avengers and Marvel actors, it was like Marvelpalooza. I don’t have enough space to put all the pics, but enjoy some of my favorites!

Yes, I was a little sad Chris Evans wasn’t there, because you know he’s my favorite! But I know he’s in Lobby Hero on Broadway, so I couldn’t be too crushed. All these images are courtesy of Disney.

Avengers Infinity War Premiere After Party

Normally press is not invited to the Marvel after parties, but since it’s the 10th Anniversary of Marvel, we got a special surprise! Afterwards we headed upstairs where many of the talent had come to mingle for a little bit. I was basically one person away from Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Winston Duke, Zoe Saldana, Benedict Cumberbatch, Sebastian Stan and more! Some were with their families, and I just don’t like to interrupt them when they’re talking to friends or family they may not normally see.

They were nice to friends who got selfies with them, and I was happy to people watch. I was also in a fog from having watched Avengers: Infinity War. It was a lot to process.

Overall, the night surpassed my expectations and was dreamy. This one definitely goes down in the books as one of the best days ever!
