These friends share a mutual love of quarterback, Tom Brady, especially because of the strength and inspiration they got from him while Lou (Lily Tomlin) was recovering from chemotherapy.

To sum it up, 80 for Brady is kid friendly for older kids or teens, but they may not have much interest. Yes, there’s some football. Yes, there’s some Brady and Gronk, but if you’re looking for just a football movie, this isn’t it.
Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, and Sally Field are the true GOATS. These funny ladies have charisma, charm, and demonstrate the strong bonds of female friendship. I also love that it’s a story about women who love football. Did we need so much ooohing and aaahing over the male football players in a sexual way? No.
I can’t say the storyline will hold much interest for kids under 13 years old unless they really love Tom Brady, but even still, there are better things to watch for Brady football fans. There is an audience for this film, and it’s cute and fun, but it won’t be for everyone.
