How to Find Spike the Bee in Scavenger Hunt in EPCOT

Spike the Bee is busy pollinating the gardens around the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Once you’ve purchased your map, look for Spike the Bee amongst the flowers and gardens in EPCOT during the festival! The idea is that Spike is pollinating plants while gathering pollen and nectar.

Spike the Bee is small and sometimes blends in, so make sure you’re looking in the gardens. With other EPCOT scavenger hunts, you usually look up, but for this one, you look down.

Once you find Spike in each garden, add the corresponding sticker of the plant he is visiting to your map. The gardens are pretty well labeled, but some are a little trickier than others to locate. They aren’t always located inside the pavilions, and there are some gardens amongst attractions.

If you need some hints, here are all the answers to Spike’s Scavenger Hunt in 2025. There’s nothing wrong with getting a little help.

2026 Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration Scavenger Hunt Prizes

The 2026 Spike’s Pollen-Nation Scavenger Hunt Prizes are cute dancing flower pots with various Disney characters. You can choose between Spike, Orange Bird, Figment, and Gardener Mickey. The flowers in the pot sway back and forth.

If you buy two maps, then you can choose two prizes. Three maps equal three prizes, etc.

I chose Orange Bird, because I always choose Orange Bird.

Spike the Bee Scavenger Hunt Tip: You don’t have to complete the map to claim your prize. You can pick your prize when you purchase the map, so it alleviates the pressure of having to complete the entire scavenger hunt in one day.

They mark the map with a stamp when you claim your prize. The prize redemption locations for Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration include Creations, World Traveler, Port of Entry, and Disney Traders.

Is Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration Worth It?

With Disney prices, $12 isn’t a bad price for some entertainment for little ones, but I am annoyed the prices went up by a couple of dollars for these scavenger hunts. Plus, how can you resist a dancing flower? My kids have always enjoyed the scavenger hunts, especially because they are rewarded with a prize.

Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration is worth the price and time if you’re spending all day in EPCOT. If you only have a half a day, then maybe it’s not worth it. It took me a good hour and a half to complete and that was the only thing I was doing. However, it’s also a way to slow down and take some time to enjoy the flowers and topiaries around the World.

The Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt around EPCOT is always fun, too!
