Wondering if The Sea Beast on Netflix is ok for kids? This mostly family-friendly swashbuckling adventure is a great addition to Netflix family. Although it has a PG-rating, it doesn’t mean it’s for all kids. Here’s what parents need to know in this Parents Guide to The Sea Beast.

The Sea Beast Parents Guide
In an era when terrifying beasts roamed the seas, monster hunters were celebrated heroes and none were more beloved than the great Jacob Holland. But when young Maisie Brumble stows away on his fabled ship, he’s saddled with an unexpected ally. However, Maisie doesn’t make everyone happy on the ship. After all, she’s just a child. But Jacob senses something special about her, perhaps because her parents died a noble death.
There’s still one beast that eludes all the monster hunters. Together they embark on an epic journey into uncharted waters and make history. From Academy Award winning filmmaker Chris Williams (Moana, Big Hero Six, Bolt), The Sea Beast takes audiences on a journey into self-reflection and the meaning of heroes.
