Did someone say sing-along? I can’t resist a sing-along version of any movie, especially in the privacy of my own home. Now you can get The Little Mermaid Sing-Along mode on Blu-ray February 26th! It’s the 30th Anniversary of The Little Mermaid and the Blu-ray Bonus Features are better than ever! Here’s what you can expect.
Thank you, Disney, for sponsoring this post. All opinions of mermaid hair envy are my own.
The Little Mermaid Sing-Along Mode
So when the Moana sing along version was re-released in theaters, I was in heaven. But now?? You can get The Little Mermaid Sing-Along mode with The Little Mermaid Anniversary Edition on Blu-ray (affiliate link). Just hit play on the menu and you can select the sing-along mode which will show you all the lyrics to your favorite songs.
I already know all the lyrics to “Part of Your World,” but my girls like to have the backup. Turn your dance parties into sing-along parties! My daughters may get a little embarrassed when I belt out a song or three, but these are memories, people. I may try out for American Idol with my new-found singing confidence.
Plus, I love that my daughters, ages 14 to 6 all love this movie. It’s one we can all agree on for a movie night. And getting my teen to hang out with me at home is priceless.
The Little Mermaid Blu-ray Bonus Features

Alan Menken & the Leading Ladies Song
From the voice of a mermaid to the tunes of a muse, the music of Alan Menken has scored the soundtrack for some of Disney’s most iconic leading ladies. Join Alan, Jodi Benson (Ariel), Paige O’Hara (Belle), Judy Kuhn (Pocahontas Singing Voice), Lillias White (Calliope) and Donna Murphy (Mother Gothel) as we celebrate the music of their films in honor of the one that started it all, “The Little Mermaid.” In this discussion, the ladies will share their memories of musically creating their characters with Alan, discuss what it means to be part of the Disney Princess/leading lady legacy and create new memories as they sing with Alan around a baby grand piano.
Alan Menken is such a genius, and I was able to interview him during the Beauty and the Beast press junket. He made me cry; I made him cry. Check out my Alan Menken interview.
“What I Want From You…Is YOUR VOICE”

Stories From Walt’s Office – Gadgets & Gizmos
Like Ariel, Walt Disney was a collector of many different things from miniatures to early mechanical characters that inspired the invention of audio-animatronics. We take a look at some the collections that Walt kept in his office in the third episode of this series.
Who doesn’t love a good gadget and gizmo? I was able to tour Walt Disney’s office, and it was magical. You can check out my post for tons of pics!
