Is Sing 2 Appropriate for Kids Under 8?

Expect more of the same from Sing 2 as you did from Sing. While there may be a couple of scenes that may be too scary for kids, Sing 2 is mostly ok for kids ages 6 and up. Part of the appeal of Sing were covers of popular songs by animated animals with pizazz amongst the height of reality TV shows.

The music is still good and entertaining for young children, with a mix of different genres of music. However, even the improved animation couldn’t breathe new life into the same old story. However, the same old story this time around was more muddled and full of plot holes.

Sing 2 will fill a void at the box office this holiday season for family-friendly movies, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll deserve the success it will probably get.
