The 2025 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays is going on from November 28-December 30, 2025. Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition is a paid scavenger hunt where you purchase a map and then try to locate Olaf figures around World Showcase. Where to Purchase Olaf Holiday Scavenger Hunt Maps in EPCOT
You can purchase your Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt Map and stickers at participating locations in EPCOT, including Creations Shop, Port of Entry, Disney Traders, World Traveler at International Gateway, and various market kiosks for $11.99, which is a $2 increase from last year. You can use your Annual Passholder or DVC discounts on the maps.
Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Prizes 2025
The prizes for Olaf’s Holiday Scavenger Hunt in 2025 are Frozen character plates. You get your choice of 3 different plates with Olaf, Sven and Kristoff, or Anna and Elsa. I had to go with Olaf since it is his traditions and expedition.
Olaf’s Holiday Scavenger Hunt Prize Tip: When purchasing my map, they asked if I wanted the prize now or when I completed the scavenger hunt. I opted to choose now, just in case lines were longer later, or I was tired. They’ll stamp your map as completed, so you can’t collect another prize later. If you want all the prizes, you can purchase more than one map.
2025 Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition redemption locations include Disney Traders, World Traveler, Creations Shop, and other stores. You can redeem your map for a prize through December 30, 2025 or until supplies last. Sometimes they do run out of prizes and they’ll substitute it for something different or they’ll only have limited choices of the prize.

I’ve done all the EPCOT scavenger hunts and this one can get tricky. There’s a lot of Olafs to find, plus some are high, some are low, and some are not in the exact location that the map indicates.

Is Olaf’s Holiday Scavenger Hunt Worth the Price?
Honestly, I’m a little salty this scavenger hunt went up in price by a couple of dollars. The plates are cute, but still. However, it’s still a fun way to keep kids engaged around EPCOT during the holidays.
Keep in mind that if you don’t have a lot of time, your child may insist on finding allllll the Olafs which took me a good 60 to 90 minutes to find all of them and walk the entire World Showcase. But with some hints, you can complete it a lot faster.
I actually had fun searching for Olaf and interacting with the Cast Members.
If you only have half a day in Epcot or are short on time, then I’d skip it, unless you’re planning on coming back later on. You don’t have to complete the scavenger hunt in one shot and you can collect your prize early.
