Playing Sports with Invisalign® Aligners

This post was sponsored by the Invisalign® brand and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

A day in the life at our house is often busy! With 5 kids (3 different schools) and after-school activities including sports practices and games, we’re often running from here to there. Can anyone relate? Well, I’ve at least got one tip for you parents out there: playing sports with Invisalign® aligners gives me peace of mind. I don’t have to worry about injuries from broken wires and brackets. Take a look into our sports prep with Invisalign treatment.

Playing Sports with Invisalign Treatment

Like I said, playing sports with Invisalign aligners is easy peasy. On Saturdays, my daughter plays like a girl and is a beast on the court. She plays basketball and volleyball and can take her Invisalign aligners out whenever she needs to, but usually she leaves them in.

She wants her teeth straightened as soon as possible and over 20 years of innovation and 7 million+ smiles has enabled Invisalign treatment to correct simple to complex orthodontic cases. I just have to remind her to take her case!

Wake Up and Get Ready For School

First things first in the daily routine. We start the day getting ready for school which means taking out the aligners, brushing teeth, and then putting them back in. Then my daughter gets ready for school, eats breakfast, does another brush, puts her aligners back in and throws her case in her backpack.

Pack a Sports Bag

If practice is right after school, then we try to pack a sports bag before school. That way we can grab and go. This includes shoes, practice equipment, water bottle, a snack, and her Invisalign case. Then she can quickly eat a snack, and we’re on our way!

Play Ball

In our house we also have a softball player, a soccer player, and another volleyball player. They have all had braces and while thankfully there were no traumatic injuries, there were cut lips and cheeks during sports play. I don’t worry about that now with Invisalign aligners. Plus it’s an added confidence booster, and in sports, the mental game is just as important as your skills.

Invisalign treatment is the most advanced clear aligner system in the world, so if the cost is often comparable to braces, why wouldn’t I choose it?

If you’ve been thinking about Invisalign treatment for your teen or tween, have them take the free smile assessment. Learn more about Invisalign treatment here and you can also check to see where your nearest Invisalign provider is located!

If ever my kids or myself needed braces I would definitely look into Invisalign. I think they are fantastic.
