  1. Office Space” (1999) – This cult classic comedy film satirizes the mundane and absurd aspects of office work. It’s a hilarious take on the daily grind in a corporate environment. It also had led to one of the most popular memes out there. Office Space is rated R.
  2. The Intern” (2015) – Starring Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway, this film tells the story of a retired widower who becomes an intern at an online fashion retailer. The generational clash and humorous situations make it an enjoyable watch. The Intern is rated PG-13.
  3. The Devil Wears Prada” (2006) – Another workplace comedy, this film stars Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway, offering a comedic look at the fashion magazine industry. Meryl Streep plays a devilish boss with little patience for mistakes. The Devil Wears Prada is rated PG-13 and you can stream it on Hulu. 
  4. Horrible Bosses” (2011) – If you’re in the mood for a dark comedy, this film follows the misadventures of three friends who plot to murder their respective, tyrannical bosses. It’s definitely on the edgier side, but has an all-star cast with Jennifer Aniston, Jason Sudeikis, and Jason Bateman. Horrible Bosses is rated R and you can stream it on Max.
  5. Clerks” (1994) – A low-budget indie comedy by Kevin Smith, this film takes place in a convenience store and showcases the humorous interactions of the slacker employees. Clerks is rated R. 
  6. 9 to 5” (1980) – This classic workplace comedy stars Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, and Dolly Parton as three women who team up to take revenge on their sexist boss. It’s a feminist comedy that remains relevant today. All hail Dolly! 9 to 5 is rated PG, but 90s PG.
  7. Tommy Boy” (1995) – Starring Chris Farley and David Spade, this comedy follows a bumbling heir who must save his father’s auto parts factory from going out of business. It’s a mix of slapstick and heartwarming moments and is a family favorite. Tommy Boy is rated PG-13.
  8. The Full Monty” (1997) – This British comedy revolves around a group of unemployed steelworkers who decide to become strippers to make ends meet. It’s heartwarming and funny. If you love British humor, then this movie will fit the bill. The Full Monty is rated R. 
  9. Super Troopers” (2001) – If you’re in the mood for a raunchy comedy, this film follows a group of misfit highway patrol officers and their antics on the job. Super Troopers is rated R. 
  10. Working Girl” (1988) – Savvy New York City receptionist Tess McGill (Melanie Griffith) gives her conniving boss, Katharine Parker (Sigourney Weaver), an excellent business tip, but Katharine simply steals the idea without giving due credit to her secretary. Pretending to be her boss, Tess initiates a major deal with an investment broker (Harrison Ford), but things turn ugly after Katharine finds out what Tess has been up to. Working Girl is rated R.
