Nonalcoholic Beverages at Disneyland

I’m at Disneyland currently celebrating my birthday a little early. So I was in the mood for some fancy drinks. However, I don’t drink alcohol. So if you’re like me, I wanted to share a few delicious nonalcoholic drinks I found at the Disneyland Resort if you wanted to spice things up a bit.

Mint Julep

Head over to the Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square in Disneyland. The menu describes the mint julep as a refreshing mint drink with a hint of lime. And it was exactly that. At first I was surprised by how minty it was, but the more I drank, the more it grew on me. I loved the cherries, the double straws, and the color. I felt fancy. Really, even though I was drinking out of a plastic cup.

And while you’re there, you might as well grab some Mickey Beignets. Because that combo makes an excellent breakfast.

Cotton Candy Lemonade

We went to the Cove Bar at Disney California Adventure Park to try the Lobster Nachos. Because Lobster Nachos. I’m sensing a pattern of food leading me to find good drinks. I had to choose between the Cotton Candy Lemonade at Cove Bar and the Strawberry Lemonade. Had I known that real live cotton candy was used as a garnish, I would have chosen that. The menu describes it as All Natural Odwalla Lemonade flavored with cotton candy and garnished with cotton candy. I’m not sure how I didn’t pick up on that fact. But cotton candy!

Strawberry Lemonade

I decided upon the Strawberry Lemonade at Cove Bar, because I like strawberry flavor a lot, and I wasn’t looking for something too sweet.  It really was delicious and refreshing. The nice thing is that they fancy it up a bit with whipped foam. And the view isn’t bad.

Those are just a few I discovered. I’m sure there are more. I’m not even talking about the divine hot chocolates, milkshakes, and famous Dole Whips that can be found. That’s another post for another day. This one is just for those who want a little fancy that’s not soda or water and is alcohol free. Cheers!

I discovered some delicious nonalcoholic drinks at Disneyland. For those times you want a little fancier something like a mint julep or a cotton candy lemonade. And don't forget to pair it with some Mickey beignets!
