Fall Chex Mix Recipe

Fall is my favorite time of the year, so it makes sense that fall snacks are my favorite, too! If you like a mixture of salty and sweet with a little spice, then this Fall Chex Mix recipe is for you! Fill your home with yummy aromas and have this out for the family to munch on or invite friends over to watch some sports! It’s also great as a prequel to Thanksgiving dinner!

You can prep this fall recipe really quickly and then put it on the oven while you rest or accomplish other things. I just love a good Chex mix to snack on and to send to school with the kids! Plus, in my house the Sept 30th to Oct 1st switch is real!

Fall Harvest Chex Mix Recipe

Fall Harvest Chex Mix Ingredients

3 cups Wheat Chex cereal
3 cups Rice Chex cereal
3 cups small cheese crackers (like Cheez-Its or Goldfish crackers)
1 cup pumpkin seeds
6 tbsp unsalted butter
1 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
2 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce
1/8 tsp hot pepper sauce
2 cups M&Ms

Sweet and Salty Harvest Chex Mix

How to Make Fall Chex Mix

Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
Prep cookie sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
Melt the butter. Set aside.

Combine Chex cereal, crackers, and pumpkin seeds in a large bowl.
Add the melted butter to a small bowl.
Add the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon and 1/8 teaspoon of pepper sauce.
Stir as you add the ingredients.

Drizzle over the Fall Harvest Chex mix, and use your hands to toss the mixture to coat all of the ingredients.
Dump the Chex mix on the prepared cookie sheet. Spread the mix throughout the cookie sheet.
Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour.

After removing from the oven, carefully put in a large bowl. Allow to cool for 15 minutes.
Add the M&M’s.
Stir to combine.

Store the remaining Chex mix in a lidded jar or a Ziploc bag.
