I am one busy mamá. I doubt you want me to list all the things I have on my plate, because I’m sure you have most of them on yours, too. I do want to tell you about where I received my work ethic from, though. My mami. She is the hardest working woman I know. Through her example, I have learned to keep going and be the best I can be. Enjoying life to the fullest is important to me and my family. However, it’s okay when you need a little help to get through your to-do list.
My mom was born in Bolivia and came to the United States when she was in college. She studied to be an accountant and then became a mother. I was the youngest of 4 children, and I remember my mom having different jobs like working at a grocery store and a daycare center. She was also a Spanish teacher and an administrator at a school. She was then a bookkeeper at the school, which eventually came full circle when she first studied accounting.
Her first priority was always her children. Motherhood was her life. She cooked, cleaned, made our lunches, shuttled us to different dance and sports practices, and served in the church. To this day, she is still Super Abuela. If I need someone to help with the kids, she’s there! If there’s laundry to be done, she’ll come over and help me fold it. She’s always playing games with my kids. She never stops. Hard work was in her blood. Just like it is in mine.
Find a Balance
Being a mom to my 5 girls is my first priority. I want to be here when they come home from school, be able to attend class parties, volunteer when they need me, attend practices, etc. I also have my own dreams. That’s how I was led to this path of being a blogger and an entrepreneur. I was a social worker, worked for airlines, worked in retail, and eventually became my own boss. I wanted to work on my own time and have control over my business, so that I could choose my priorities. I’m also a runner. Being a mother runner is not always easy. Training for races takes up a lot of time, and honestly, sometimes it hurts!
Finding a balance for a work-from-home job, my family, and running takes some juggling, organization, and help. Gracias to my mom and Advil® Tablets for helping me accomplish my goals. My mom can’t be with me 24/7, so when I’m sore from a long run or wake up with a pain in my neck or back from sleeping funny, I count on *Advil® for my pains and aches. I grab a glass of water, take two tablets, and go about my business. It works quickly, so I can get back to ALL the things I have to do. I simply do not have time for my body to fall apart on me.

Enjoying life means staying busy, spending time with my family, accomplishing my goals, and living my dreams. Crossing the finish line of my first marathon this year was an incredible feeling! So if you excuse me, I have a race in a couple of weeks, and I need to hit the trails.
Finding Advil® Tablets is super easy! I found mine at my local Walmart in the pharmacy aisle. They even made it more convenient with an end cap just for Advil®!
