Breakfast is my family’s favorite meal. That’s why you can often find us eating it for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. I always need easy breakfast and dinner hacks for kids. Not only do we prefer the taste of traditional breakfast foods, but they’re easy to make. When you can add food to a stick then you get instant fun that kids love, and my kids think I’m super mom. I can whip up easy waffle and pancake kabobs in about 5 minutes!

Waffle and Pancake Kabobs, Assemble!

Hey, family of 7 over here. Do you know what that means? No time. Our schedules are jam packed. I need all the food hacks I can get. Our freezer is always stocked with Eggo Homestyle Waffles and Eggo Buttermilk Mini Pancakes. So my kids eat them as an after-school snack, too.  I just usually run to Target, find them in the freezer section, and also grab bamboo skewer sticks which I find in the small kitchen accessories section.

You can find all your Eggo Waffle needs in the freezer section at Target.

Assembling your favorite kabob is simple! Pick your favorite Eggo Waffle and Pancake flavors. My personal favorite is Eggo Thick & Fluffy Pumpkin Spice Waffles. My kids are not big pumpkin fans like I am, so I eat those while they’re at school. Bam!

Benefits of being the adult in the house. They choose Eggo Homestyle Waffles and Eggo Buttermilk Mini Pancakes, so I oblige them, because mom of the year over here.

Then pick whatever other food you or your children love. They love strawberries and sausage. I’m more of a bacon girl myself, but once again, the sacrifices you make for motherhood. I cut the waffles in 4 triangles, and if I’m in a hurry, then I assemble them for my girls. If we have some extra time, I’ll set it up buffet style and let them have fun with their creations!

Time to Dunk Your Waffle and Pancake Kabobs!

My kids are dunkers, always have been. So I pour them some syrup and they dunk and eat!

Dunking your pancake and waffle kabob is the best part!
