The Be Our Guest Event adventure continues! After we were all in La La Land after interviews with the cast of Beauty and the Beast, we headed to Williams Sonoma for a special blogger event that involved a cooking demonstration with the Le Creuset Beauty and the Beast Soup Pot. You know, THE ONE. Yes, that one. The beautiful blue soup pot with roses that was love at first sight that actually says “Be Our Guest” on the knob. It’s not only eye candy, you can cook with it, too. True story.
Cooking with Le Creuset Beauty and the Beast Soup Pot
Williams Sonoma invited us to be their guest for a cooking demonstration – Beauty and the Beast themed, naturally – where they used this gorgeous soup pot to make Meat Ragu, Cheese Soufflé, and Squash Soup de Jour.
The best part is we got to sample everything, too! It was all delicious including the Strawberry and Rose Petal Lemonade.
I had to laugh at a friend’s Facebook status recently. They were asking if you would encourage a friend to purchase a $280 soup pot. Of course I knew exactly which soup pot she was talking about. At first people were hesitant. Then they heard it was Le Creuset. That’s when everyone started encouraging it and talking about the quality of Le Creuset. They are known for their quality. Others chimed in about not even bothering to purchase lesser quality versions. Then when people found out which Le Creuset soup pot it was, it was over. Yup, the Le Creuset Beauty and the Beast Soup Pot is special. My comment on the post was, “It says Be Our Guest on the knob for crying out loud.” Mic drop.
In addition to that, here are some other fabulous qualities of the Le Creuset Beauty and the Beast Soup Pot!
- 2 3/4-qt. cap. chef’s oven is ideal for cooking soup, risotto or stew.
- Enameled cast-iron construction boasts superior heat retention and requires no additional seasoning.
- Enamel interior’s light sand color makes it easy to monitor food while cooking, ensuring less sticking and burning.
- Ideal for use on any cooktop, including induction.
- Hand-applied red rose-and-vine appliqué design on lid.
- Stainless-steel knob with gold metallic finish is engraved with “Be Our Guest.”
Making Paper Roses
Every good party needs food and decor, so after we got our grub on, we headed over to tables to get instruction on making paper flowers by the very talented Sara Kim from Handmade by Sara Kim. Her paper flowers are incredible and no two are alike. She makes them for weddings, bridal showers, parties, you name it. They’re exquisite.
She was kind enough to teach us some skills. Never underestimate a girl and her glue gun. Well unless that girl is me. I gave it my all, and I had such a fun time, but my paper rose turned out a little tulip-y. I just had to laugh and leave it to the crafty bloggers.
Those are paper, y’all!
Thank you to Williams Sonoma for hosting such a fabulous event. They even gave us goody bags with tools for my little chefs at home. I had to laugh at this picture, because of the look on my face. This was me during the entire weekend. Smiling or laughing at something, because I was having too much fun. Williams Sonoma offers free cooking classes for your junior chefs at your local store, so check them out.

I was invited to attend the #BeOurGuestEvent where travel and accommodations were provided. All opinions about the droolworthiness of the Le Creuset Beauty and the Beast Soup Pot are my own.
