Once upon a time you could only find the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on land in Walt Disney World and Disneyland. However, your princesses and pirates can get makeovers on all Disney Cruise Line ships. I recently set sail on the Disney Fantasy. Disney Dream, and Disney Wonder where young guests are magically transformed into princesses on the high seas.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on Disney Cruise Line
The next time you’re on Disney Cruise Line and you have princesses, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a little girl’s dream come true. That’s only if your little girl loves pink, glitter, sparkles, make-up, and nail polish. There are still Covid restrictions, so the experience may vary, but it’s still fun!
Read on for tips for getting the most out of your Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experience on Disney Cruise Line.
Make An Appointment
Book an appointment in advance online through your Disney Cruise Line account for your child ages 3-12 to don head-to-toe outfits, with options in hairstyling, costumes and accessories.
All Guests, including children, are required to wear face coverings throughout the entire Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experience. Makeup will not be applied during the makeover experience at this time. For all applicable packages, the makeup palette will be provided as a takeaway.
At each appointment, up to 2 additional Guests may accompany the child to view the makeover.
*All package components and related information, including costume sizes, experience duration and prices, are subject to change without notice.
Luckily when we got on the ship and we figured out our schedule, I called from our room, and they were able to fit us in. You can also walk in and see if there’s availability, but it was very convenient just to call.
I recommend making reservations in advance, but sometimes they do have appointments available on the ship. You can stop by the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on your ship or call from your stateroom.
I would guess one of the most popular days would be on Pirate Night. That night you can choose a Pirate’s League makeover for boys and girls instead of the traditional packages.

Disney Cruise Line Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Hairstyles
Below are some examples of the hairstyles and clothing options available on Disney Cruise Line for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.
The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Experience
On the Disney Dream, go to Deck 5 Midship and you’ll find the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. We also visited on the Disney Magic, and it’s located on Deck 10. There’s a whole lot of pink and a whole lot of pixie dust!
Here is the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on the Disney Fantasy. It’s gorgeous!
Your Fairy Godmother-in-Training escorts your princess to her chair and begins the chosen hairstyle. My girls chose the traditional Enchanted look. Then your nails are painted!
Right now, the makeup application is not being done, but pre-Covid it was. You do get to take home the makeup palette though.
Next is the pixie dust! My girls love their glitter, so they asked for double pixie dust. They use a shield to cover the girls’ faces and then sprinkle glitter all over their heads.
Last is the big reveal! They don’t let the girls see their look until the very end when they turn the chair and ta-da!!
Is Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Disney Cruise Line Worth the Price?
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a splurge and the packages have gone up in price. The Covid precautions do put a little damper on the fun, but overall, it’s a magical experience. Kids who aren’t so into hair and makeup can probably do without the experience and would rather have different souvenirs. The whole experience takes about 45 minutes, and an adult must stay during the appointment.
Considering a manicure for girls on the ship is $45 at the spa, then it’s not a bad price or if you skip the Disney Cruise Line wifi. You can also stop by the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on Disney Cruise Line for touch-ups for free while on the ship.
It’s also fun for pictures with Disney characters on the ship. If the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is in your budget, I would definitely recommend the experience! If not, bring your own costume on board, buy a tiara, and put your hair up in a bun. There are still plenty of princess experiences on board without an extra cost.
