Disney Springs has turned into quite the place to be with all their renovations and additions. I had heard about the new holiday experiences like Starbright Holidays – An Intel Collaboration, a show of 300 drone lights in the sky. When I arrived there the weekend after Thanksgiving, I asked if I could see the show from anywhere in Disney Springs. I was told yes. Yeah, that wasn’t true. Don’t make the same mistakes I did.
Nightly performances of Starbright Holidays – An Intel Collaboration at Disney Springs are at 7:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. from Nov. 20 – Jan 8. It is shown above the West Side of the Disney Springs waterfront.
Where Not to Watch Starbright Holidays Drone Show
When we arrived after a very, very long car drive, I asked if it was visible from any place in Disney Springs. I figured it was high in the air, so you could see it if you just looked up. I was told yes, so after dinner at Earl of Sandwich we just hung out, because there was a DJ and some characters on stilts like a Toy Soldier. I knew the show was set to music, so I thought the DJ would play the music. 8:30 p.m. came, and I couldn’t see anything.
Disney always starts on time, so I knew we were in the wrong place. We walked around behind Goofy’s Candy Co. and LittleMissMatched and could see some drone lights, but there were a lot of trees. We finally found a spot where we could see something and saw maybe the last minute. It was a side view.
Not the best view, but I was glad to see something. It looked like the show was over the water from our point of view, so we tried again the next night. This time we waited in the front of the Lego Store. We looked over towards Rainforest Cafe.
Don’t look in this direction.
Whomp whomp. Didn’t see a thing when it started. We were looking in the wrong direction. Then we turned to our left and started walking. We had a better view than the night before. We just had a building in the way. B.B. Wolf’s to be exact.
Where You Can Find the Best View of Starbright Holidays
If you want to see Starbright Holidays, don’t watch them from where we did. The show is literally less than 5 minutes, so there’s not much time to regroup and look for a new spot. My friend, Wendy, recommends watching from behind the Starbucks to the left of the hot air balloon. I would take her advice.
ETA: My friend, Leslie, stood in the spot my friend recommended. Behind Starbucks, next to Characters in Flight. She said anywhere along the pathway by the water from Characters in Flight to House of Blues is a good view. This was her view!
It’s a cool little show. If we had had a better view, I would have enjoyed the show a lot more. The music is lovely. If you’re planning on being at Disney Springs, then I would make an effort to stay for the show. I’m not sure I would disrupt my regular vacation plans for it.
Here’s the full show filmed by Leslie from her spot in Disney Springs.

Enjoy! What do you think? Will you make a trip to Disney Springs to watch Starbright Holidays?
