You guys. I’m not really a cleaner. It’s not something I enjoy, and I do it out of necessity. For some of my friends and my sister, cleaning is therapeutic. I did not get that gene. However when I received a Shark® Rocket® Vacuum Cleaner to review…I was singing like the princesses in Disney movies with their cleaning animals and birds.
Shark Rocket Complete with DuoClean Technology Vacuum
The Shark Rocket Complete with DuoClean Technology was super easy to put together. A couple of clicks, and ta-da! Assembled. I was excited, because it has two brushrolls to pick up all the different-sized particles on your floors. And it’s good for hardwoods and carpet, which is important to me, because I have both on my main floor. I’m still shaking my head over carpet in the dining room in our new house. Why, builders?
Here are the accessories included! My husband was with me when I opened the box, and his curiosity got the best of him. He started looking at everything, and yells, “Did you see this???” He was giddy with excitement at how easy it is to pop off the top to get to the brushroll, and that it included a hair removal tool! Giddy.
The man has had to help me clean and disassemble many a brushrolls tangled with hair. We have 5 daughters with long, flowing hair, and a dog, plus me. That’s a lot of hair shed! I won’t show you pics, because it’s gross.
That’s the hair removal tool!!! Let the choir angels sing.
The Shark® Rocket® Complete with DuoClean™ Technology lives up to the cleaning test. I had to get our home ready for visitors, and because, I was doing a Facebook Live video for the 2016 Blogger Holiday Home Tour. This was going on video, and I needed things clean!
I also put the vacuum to the test and threw a bunch of cheerios on the floor, had the dog step on them, you know – basically every day in my house. I was so happy when it cleaned it all in one pass over – one!!
This Shark® Rocket® Vacuum Cleaner is the bomb. I’m serious. I love it. It’s lightweight, moves easily in between tables and spaces, and it does the job. That’s really the most important thing to me. Bells and whistles are cool, but I need it to clean well. And that it does.
I do wish it was cordless, though. This cord is very long, so that’s nice to be able to move around an entire room, but sometimes the cord bugs me. The cordless feature comes with its drawbacks, too. Like when you’re in the middle of cleaning and the battery runs out. Whomp whomp.
All in all, I like the Shark a lot more than my cordless Dyson. There, I said it. Mic drop.
If you still need a Christmas, New Years, birthday, Easter, Hanukkah, Valentine’s Day present, put this on your list!
